Valves in Meghalaya

Valves are mechanical devices used to control the flow and pressure of fluids (liquids, gases, or slurries) within a system. They function by opening, closing, or partially obstructing fluid passageways. Depending on their design, valves can be used to start or stop flow, regulate flow rate, prevent backflow, or relieve excess pressure in piping systems.

Valves are essential components in a wide range of industries, including water treatment, oil & gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and power generation. They are manufactured in different sizes, pressure ratings, and materials such as stainless steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, plastics, and alloys, depending on the application.
