Tube Settler Media in Meghalaya
Tube Deck Media, also known as Tube Settler Media, is a modular type of settling media designed to improve the performance of sedimentation and clarification processes in water and wastewater treatment plants. It consists of a series of lightweight, corrosion-resistant PVC or PP tubes arranged in a honeycomb or inclined parallel configuration.
The tubes create multiple laminar flow channels, which reduce the settling distance for suspended particles. This accelerates sedimentation, enhances solids separation, and improves overall clarification efficiency without requiring additional tank volume. Tube Deck Media is widely used in primary and secondary clarifiers, sedimentation tanks, and effluent treatment plants.
